Graduated P. Burgos Elementary School (Sta. Mesa, Manila) (1972), Education High School-University of Santo Tomas (Espana, Manila) (1976), Faculty of Arts & Letters (Ab-Journalism) University of Santo Tomas (1980)

Started working at the General telephone Directory (GENTELDIR, INC.) in Makati after I graduated...doing office work, paper works, editing ads for the phone directory, etc.

1981 started writing for R.A.R. Publications (Teenworld and Bulaklak magazines), Graphic Arts Publications (KISLAP Magazine) and Atlas Publications (Modern Romances and True Confessions) as a freelance writer.

That time, the number one soap opera "Anna Liza" starring then child actress Julie Vega (SLN) was my beat. That's where i started writing about the stars in the soap (including my Dad-character actor Renato 'Guido' del Prado).

One of the guests in the soap, public servant Ms. Cielito del Mundo hired me to be her publicist and secretary. So, am doing her press releases for Daily Express, Manila Bulletin and other newspapers.

Since then, I have immersed myself in the writing business. In show business. And that was when i also started handling PR jobs-as personal publicist to some stars.

That included:

Also became a publicist for movies of SOLAR FILMS, VIVA FILMS and REGAL FILMS.

Handled PR for shows of the LIBRARY talents ("CHANNEL VICE") and AIZA SEGUERRA's and ALLAN K's "MYUSIK & LAFFTER".

Received several top awards from the PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) writing contests in features (Tagalog) where I have been a member of good standing since 1983 and has handled positions as Secretary and Treasurer.

Was production assistant and part of the reportorial team of "CINEMASCOOP" (hosted by Boy C. de Guia and Lolit Solis)

Hosted "SHOWBIZ TALKIES" with fellow-writers ROD SAMSON and JUN LALIN

Part of the "SHOWBIZ LINGO PLUS!" segment with Aster Amoyo and Dolly Ann Carvajal in "SHOWBIZ LINGO" hosted by Cristy Fermin.
